The final image in the series (as it was hung in the Droichead Arts Centre) lightens the vision with a change of palette; the dark lowering blacks, heavy reds and muted blues give way to a pale and creamy, airy light work with just a hint of green and blue. And with it one is left with the small consolation that if, in future struggles with nature, man may not triumph, at least here he gains some sort of mastery, as observer and creator."
